The island has been owned by Marcegaglia tourism since 1988 and has been managed according to their standards ever since. The hotel was completely renovated and modernised in 2010.
The island has 400 apartments and villas, as well as two hotels (Hotel Capo Nord with 23 rooms and 65 suites on two floors of one building; Golf Hotel with 22 rooms on one floor). In total, the island can accommodate 12,000 guests on a total area of 8 km2.

The private island of Albarella is located in the Podelta Park, 70 km south of Venice.
The island can be reached by car, driving across the 12 km causeway that connects the island to the mainland, by boat or by helicopter. On the island, cars can be used to arrive and leave the island. During their stay on the island, guests can travel by bicycle, electric car, special train, roller skates or on foot.
Airports: Treviso – 100 km (approx. 2 hours by car), Venice (Marco Polo) – 85 km (approx. 1 hour), Bologna – 135 km (approx. 2 hours), Verona – 150 km (approx. 2.5 hours), Rimini – 200 km (approx. 2.5 hours).
The hotel is located in the eastern part of the island, right on the "Albarella" Golf Club. The beach can be reached in 10 minutes by bike.
