The Coburg Palace was built in 1840-1845 directly above the walls of the medieval city bastion (currently accessible to visitors), from the time of construction until 1978 it was owned by the Saxe-Coburg dynasty, and its representatives lived in the palace until 1994. After a general reconstruction in 2000, the palace returned to its former grandeur and glory: now it is a hotel with a special style, combining historical heritage with the highest modern standards.
The hotel's pride is its wine collection: around 60,000 bottles from around the world (most purchased at Sotheby's and Christie's auctions), including a 1945 Château Mouton-Rothschild wine collection and a bottle of the world's oldest drinkable Rüdesheimer Apostelwein from 1727.

Bastei Suite (101, 201, 205): approx. 113 m2 , max. 4 persons, duplex, two rooms with two bedrooms, living room, dining room, study, 1 room with garden view and terrace.
Coburg Suite (203, 204, 206): approx. 130 m2 , max. 3 persons, duplex, garden view, 2 rooms with terrace, jacuzzi and sauna.
A detailed description of a specific room is provided upon booking. All rooms are individually decorated and differ in layout and area. Most rooms are duplex: on the lower level there is an entrance hall, a large living room with a study area, a fully equipped kitchen with a minibar, a guest WC; on the upper level there is an open bedroom and a luxurious bathroom. The rooms are designed for a maximum of 3 people, rooms with 2 bedrooms - for 4 people.
