The hotel was built in 1977. The last reconstruction took place in 2009.
The hotel consists of two 5-storey buildings: the main building and the Silberdistel Haus (connected to the main hotel building by a covered passage, the atmosphere of a traditional Alpine village house).

The Jagdhof Spa Hotel enjoys a quiet location with a fantastic panorama of the Stubai Valley. The resort centre is a 5-minute walk away. Private transport to the glacier lift (20 minutes away) is provided, as well as a shuttle to Innsbruck Airport and the train station (for a fee, upon prior request).
