Built in the late 1960s on Greece's most popular coastline, the hotel has undergone a major renovation to bring it back to its former glory from the days of Aristotle Onassis. In July 2018, the hotel became part of the Domes Resorts group, and since August 2018, it has been part of The Luxury Collection brand. The last renovation took place in 2018. The 2022 renovation will include a new building, a SPA with an indoor pool, a gym, a restaurant, a bar, a new outdoor pool and a pool bar.
