The resort complex was built between 1991 and 2001. It is renovated every year. In 2021-22, the main part of the hotel underwent a general renovation with replacement of furniture and communications of the buildings.
The luxurious, spacious hotel territory of 150,000 m2 is occupied by a complex of cozy bungalows in traditional Cretan style, some of them - by the sea on a wide sandy beach 400 m long and 100 m wide; the central building and some bungalows - around the pools, surrounded by gardens immersed in flowers and greenery.
